People speak of the end times. The Church calls the study of the end times Eschatology. This is not a recent development, the end times began when Christ ascended into Heaven. (Acts 1:1-11) The end times began when the Holy Spirit empowered Peter and the Apostles to go out and fearlessly proclaim the Gospel and gather all humanity into the unity of His Church. (Acts 2:1-11)Â
The Tower of Babel was the site of where man tried to unify himself without God. (Genesis 11:1-9) Pentecost is the festival where God unified man through His appointed representative, Peter. (Matthew 16:13-19) ( John 21:15-19)Â When Peter spoke, people from all the nation understood in unity. Â It was not the power of man, but the Power of God speaking through Peter.Â
The power of our unity in this country did not come from man. Our rights existed as humans before the foundation of any country, and the founding fathers declared them inalienable because they were not given to us by the state. But the state has the obligation to honor these rights as they are God given. So remember the person to whom we need to depend on for unity in this country. His name is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 18:21-23)
